The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Abraham Almonte from the restricted list Sunday following the completion of his 80-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.Almonte is batting eighth and playing center field in the Indians lineup Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays.He was 12-for-27 with four RBIs in seven games for Triple-A Columbus before his activation.To clear a roster spot for Almonte, left-handed reliever Shawn Morimando was sent to Columbus following a one-day stint with the Indians, who also moved?outfielder Michael Brantley (right shoulder) from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL.Almonte was one of two Indians outfielders suspended this season for PED violations, an anabolic steroid generally used by veterinarians on horses.
