Sky Sports News HQ understands negotiations between Arsenal and Alex Iwobi over a new long-term contract are ongoing. On Tuesday, the Daily Mirror suggested Iwobi had agreed to sign a new five-year contract with the Gunners, worth around £30,000-a-week. But Sky sources understand the 19-year-old is yet to finalise terms over a new deal, although talks are continuing between the player and the club. Iwobi netted in Arsenals win over Everton at Goodison Park Iwobi, who has been labelled as special by manager Arsene Wenger, only signed a new four-year deal with Arsenal in October.
